Craig Collins, aka “Double C”, got the radio bug growing up in New York City and listening to legendary top 40 station, Music Radio 770 WABC. Double C first hit the airwaves in 1981 doing top 40 at KWKI in West Texas, then returned to New York City in `85 to work for Dick Clark’s United Stations Radio Network. At the same time he also had several on air gigs at area radio stations. Double C came to Albuquerque in 1989 and hit the air on KOB-FM, joined Kool 102 shortly thereafter and launched KABG Big 98.5 Big Oldies in 1997. Still not ready to stay put Double C went to Knoxville, TN and worked on their Oldies station for 5 years before returning back to Albuquerque.

This is when the story gets really good because Double C has now finally found his true home as one of the Good Guys here on Real Oldies 1600 AM. Tune in and enjoy his Good Guy show every weekday from 6:00am to 10:00am. He’ll get you going every morning and you’ll be sure to find yourself singing those Oldies tunes all the way into work.
